Producer, Engineer and Musician

Farin Kautz is a highly skilled music producer and mixing/mastering engineer, holding a Master's in Music Production and Songwriting from Berklee College of Music. With over fifteen years of valuable experience in the music industry, he has collaborated with artists across diverse genres, adeptly helping them realize and achieve their artistic vision and potential.

Specializing in uncovering artists' core message and sound, Farin's expertise lies in crafting commercially competitive records that seamlessly align with the artist's creative vision. His proficiency as a mix engineer ensures radio-ready tracks that maintain the desired aesthetic.

Production Courses

You'll get hands-on training in recording, mixing, and mastering, along with focused lessons on vocal production and business skills for independent producers. The lessons help you understand how to make your music connect with listeners and work effectively with others, preparing you to excel in various music styles and define your unique impact as a music producer. 

Mixing

This is a cutting-edge course designed to elevate your mixing skills to the highest level, covering traditional methods like balance and EQ as well as pitch and time correction for digital streaming. This course ensures you master both technical and creative mixing techniques and prepare mixes for modern streaming formats. 

Mastering

In our mastering sessions, you will enhance your skills to handle the complex signal processing challenges faced by professional mastering engineers. You'll learn the theory and techniques to produce high-quality masters across various genres and platforms, including vinyl and streaming services. The course also teaches you to analyze audio based on technical and musical criteria, adapt it to audience expectations, and create flawless masters for different distribution channels.
