In our initial sessions, we'll do more than just record in the studio; we'll work on uncovering and distilling the unique elements of your music. This can happen through a casual chat with our head music producer or a group discussion that includes you, our producer, and your label or management. Regardless of the format, we believe that understanding your mission and branding is an integral part of the production process. We want to know what makes you unique and we want to help your music tell this story.
Production
Production means different things for different artists, and each song requires a unique approach. At Magic Theatre, we specialize in both production and songwriting. This can involve building out the arrangement of your track or adding instrumentation to a song you have written only on the piano. If your song is already fully developed, we can take a more traditional engineering route, capturing each element with precision. We are highly flexible and dedicated to serving each song according to the artists vision.
Recording
Using state-of-the-art equipment, we focus on capturing your best performance. By emphasizing the song's core emotions and message, we strive to achieve the perfect take—one that hits all the right notes and also tells the story of the song and production. This involves everything from building vocal comps to selecting the perfect microphone for the final mix.
Mixing
At Magic Theatre, we specialize in mixing. Our mixes ensure that every song reaches the highest level of commercial competitiveness while amplifying its narrative and emotion. Mixing can be handled privately by our head producer or through a collaborative process with the artist.
Mastering
After recording, editing, and mixing are complete, mastering is the final step in the process. These finishing touches elevate your music to the highest levels of streaming fidelity. Thanks to the state-of-the-art acoustics in our main studio, our mastering sessions produce masters that sound exceptional on phones, car systems, laptops, and all other listening mediums.
Release
With all other steps completed, The Magic Theatre Music Studio can assist in releasing your music! Leveraging our connections with distribution platforms and our years of experience in creating release strategies, we can help you share your music with the world.
